Description
This course covers latent variable measurement models used in educational, psychological, and health measurement, focusing on item response theory (IRT) and related models such as latent class analysis (LCA). These models are widely used in educational, psychological, and health measurement. Prerequisite: EPSY 706 or equivalent. While prior exposure to psychometrics via EPSY 730 and categorical data analysis via EPSY 835 or equivalents is desirable, the course is self-contained.
