Description
Artificial Intelligence involves representing, learning and acquiring knowledge, using symbols, relations and probabilities, and for solving real world tasks. The orientation of the course is computational with theoretical underpinnings. Student assignments and/or projects will involve programming in one or more suitable high-level languages. Representative topics include: knowledge, intelligence, search algorithms, expert systems, inference under uncertainty, machine learning, natural language processing. There will be a midterm, a final and a project.
