Description
This 2-cr Independent Study is restricted to MA students in Comparative Literature who are writing a thesis. The topic of the thesis must be approved by the thesis director, the Director of the MA Program or Deputy Executive Officer, and the Executive Officer. The thesis itself should be a minimum of 18,000 words in length and need not be written in English. Students should register for this independent study only after accumulating a minimum of 24 credits and only after consulting with the Director of the MA program and/or the Executive Officer. Students may enroll in this independent study for a single semester only; the expectation is that the thesis will be ready for deposit at the end of the enrolled semester.
