The Professional Development Seminar helps students develop familiarity with sociological debates across subfields within sociology. The seminar will be offered for the partial fulfillment of the 60-credit requirement. Students develop professional skills and competence through attending the colloquium series, meeting with outsider speakers for the colloquium series, and meeting with consortia faculty from the campuses.
