Climate Resilience & Environmental Justice Practicum

Description

This practicum course is an intensive, hands-on course designed to provide students with experience in the integrative and holistic approaches used for addressing urban environmental challenges as it applies to climate resilience and environmental justice. Throughout the semester students will work collaboratively on a project for an identified client that will culminate in a presentation and final report for this client. In developing this report, students will apply the multi-disciplinary skills and content knowledge learned during their tenure in the Earth and Environmental Sciences program. Assigned readings, guest speakers and student-led group discussions on various aspects of the project will help guide students through the process of developing the final presentation and report.
