Description
This course is taken under individual faculty supervision and consists of an in-depth study of the research literature in a specific BRES thematic area. Students will develop a reading list with the guidance of a specific faculty member before the start of the semester in which the Independent will take place. Students will present the results of their study in either an oral (e.g., as part of the oral exam) or written form (e.g., a literature review or final paper).
